Bathroom Design Questions Answered by James C
When it comes to redesigning a home there is seldom a room where the results pay off as much as the bathroom. If you are wanting to update your bathroom you might have several questions to ask. Read this article and learn the answers to a couple of the most common bathroom design questions.
Once common question is, “I can not afford to replace my tile, can I still update my bathroom?” The answer is yes, you do not have to replace your tile to transform your bathroom. If you have tile work that is in good shape you can work with it and still transform the room. For example, you can find a complimentary color to paint the walls and you can incorporate the color of the tile in window treatments, towels or a wallpaper border. There is still a lot you can do without going to the trouble and expense of tile replacement. Another question that is commonly asked is, “I am considering a designer sink but am worried about the maintenance, are they hard to keep up with?” That depends greatly on the sink that you choose but yes some of them do require a lot of upkeep. Glass sinks and metal sinks can show water marks very easily. Darker colored sinks might highlight soap scum buildup. This is not much of a problem for a rarely used half bath but might be an issue in a children’s bathroom or a master bath. You must decide if having the look you want is worth the constant cleaning. Only you can answer that question.
Those are two commonly asked bathroom questions. I hope that the answers to them will help guide you in your attempt to redecorate your bathroom. Good luck and remember to think carefully before you make changes.
